Subject: Who's the prankster?
When I got an email today from someone saying goodbye, I came straight here and found someone had written a phoney goodbye message under my name. It's pretty good too - it actually sounds like what I would write if I was going to pack it in. I certainly haven't had this happen before.
Thanks to all the kind people who said goodbye - but rest assured I'm not over it yet. And if I was going to call it a day, I would announce it on the front page of my site, not on my messageboard.
I checked the IP logs, and it turns out the guy who wrote that message is the same person who wrote most of the "No name" posts on this board, including:Clearly, this is someone who likes causing trouble, and has apparently done this to protest my decision to make the name field mandatory, which I did because of all his anonymous posts. Since this guy can't seem to come up with a name for himself, I think we should think of one for him - how about "Butt Boy" :)

Whew! so it was all a bad dream then - what a relief! {unlike yesterday - 70mph-120kph-winds over southern England - 9 dead, mainly in cars crushed by falling trees}.
From the new caps KateG is obviously maturing nicely and something to look forward to next year.
And yes, Alpha, I'm a big Bec fan too - hence the frustration in not being able to see her Aussie TV stuff, which is where I came in. However, there is a rumour that she may be coming over here about the turn of the year to promote the song and launch it - fingers crossed. She'd better bring some warm undies - England in January might be a bit of a shock. If we have a stable high pressure system over us, it just about creeps up to zero by early afternoon before dropping to minus 5-8 in the wee small hours!
Having said all that, I wouldn't mind if she became a little bit more lairy.
