Subject: No more H&A bimbos!

This site used to be the best celeb artwork site with tonnes of variety but now it has degraded into a Home & Away bimbofest

I agree! (and I hope this really pisses off Alpha-Wolf).

Why would it piss me off Raven? I find all of Suaves work to be equally brilliant.

There not bimbos. Have you taken the time to see how sexy most of them are? I suggest you look at thepictures before you slag them off.

Suave you doing a great job keep it up.

I couldn't agree more agora. There are so many beautiful women on Australian TV. The various hot news readers, women in sport, and actresses in other programs like White Collar Blue. All we get here are the tarts from Summer Bay. I wish the Home & Away fanboys would develop a diversity of taste.

A few thoughts from the top hemisphere -
H&A and Neighbours are our only access to Aussie TV, unless you have satellite and can see Crash Palace and TSLOU.
Neighbours is now even more puritanical than H&A and the entire female cast dress like nuns, which only leaves H&A.
I'm sure there's lots of other good stuff on Aussie TV but the audience is minute in global terms, so H&A is really the only common thread we have.
And before you say, 'Well, this is an Aussie site, what do you expect?', remember that the Net is a global medium. If other Aussie girls are so unknown, maybe your TV execs should get off their asses and get out selling their progs overseas. As I've said before, your TV people just don't seem to realise what an asset they've got. Lightly dressed good looking girls on a sunny beach beside a sparkling sea is pure fantasy land to us in the middle of a cold dark winter, and we'll take as much as you can throw at us, thanks very much!!

I don't understand why you need caps of the program to help you enjoy it more. I would prefer to see more rare items captured, stuff you can't just switch on your television and see any old week night. A classic example of top quality material that should be captured is the up-coming Hopman Cup - a tennis tournament screened on our non-commercial TV station, the ABC. Because there are no commercials, the camera follows the girls to their seat on the sidelines between sets. The up-skirt views have to be seen to be believed. Wouldn't you rather a fresh diversity of material than stuff you can see in the comfort of your own armchair?

And before someone tells me to get my own capture card and start my own website, surely the entire point of having a website is to try and serve the community. If you were just doing it for your own pleasure, you wouldn't bother with all the on-line crap. So as a part of this community, I feel I have a right to a say. Plus I'm far too lazy to do anything otherwise... ;)

"I don't understand why you need caps of the program to help you enjoy it more."

Have you heard of the expression: Take a picture, It'll last longer? Memorys can only you give you so much pleasure and degrade over time. Pictures are forever.

As for the hopman cup thing, I think that's a good idea. Depends who's playing tho.

Agora/Raven/Bkeela, I understand where you're coming from. If you don't watch Home And Away, my recent spate of H&A material might be frustrating. But I also understand there a lot of people who do like the show and would like to see more. Robbothepom makes a valid point - by capping the girls from H&A I can reach a much wider audience.

Bkeela, this is not the first time you've argued that I shouldn't capture H&A because it's on every night. If it were the evening newsreaders I was capturing every night, your argument would hold, but I feel it doesn't apply to H&A. You can't switch on every night and see Christie Hayes in a bikini - these are 'rare' events which I would like to preserve.

I agree the tennis is a great source of classic moments and I have captured some of them in the past. However, my reception of the ABC is not great, so I would be hesitant to cap from it because I cop so much shit if the quality of my work is noticeably down.

I feel the point of having this website is not to serve the community, but rather to share my work with those who may appreciate it. At the end of the day, nobody is paying me to do this so I'm only going to do the girls that I like.

Suave.
