How do you get such good quality clear caps? What software do you use & or recommend & does the original picture quality make a huge difference (cable connection vs antenna)?

Please see the FAQ on my site for what hardware/software I use. The original quality does make a huge difference. I am fortunate to have good reception. I have seen cable TV at my friend Obake's house but I don't think it looked any better. I get the best reception from channel 7 which is why I prefer to capture their shows.
