er, exactly how much "ice climbing" have you done then lately??
not much I don't suppose! and how many routes have you done on grit??

come on be honest, have you reached the dizzy heights of E1?

not only is this country a backwater for ice climbing, it has some of the best grit, volcanic and other rock crags in europe which you can climb on all year.

Having said that I am glad losers like yourself will be well away from the crags this winter and sat in the pub talking about what you will do and going for a walk in the rain whilst every other climber goes rock climbing!
