Donna, W R Krickenburger taught my Plane Geometry class and wrote the text with the then head of the Math Dept, A M Welchons. Mr Krickenberger was a great, popular teacher who often balanced pieces of chalk "teeter-totter" style on his black board pointer during class. I do not believe that I took any musical excursions with him because I can't "carry a tune in a bucket". There is a humerous anecdote about a sweet, and well liked little girl, who shall remain anonymous, that showed up to our class one day... obviously tired and unprepared. As was common, Mr Krickenburger asked her to present a proof concerning triangles and circles. She stammered and blurted out "I think you begin by circumsizing a circle around the triangle." Everyone in the class including Mr Krickenburger, sans the embarrassed student, became apoplectic with laughter for at least five minutes.

Sorry Donna,
You know that you are becoming senile when you can no longer spell "circumcising". It is not as "humorous" when you miss the correct answer to your question: Mr W R Krickenberger!
