Gary Dee Clark 68, Indianapolis, passed away July 10, 2010, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Gary was born December 12, 1941 in Indianapolis to Harold Wade and Emma May Brown Clark. He graduated from Arsenal Technical H. S., served in the United States Army and retired from Ford Motor Co after 22 years of service. Gary is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Avo Audell Clark; two children, Sarah Kathleen Clark Thatch, husband Russell, Jr., of Indianapolis, and Damon Clark of Bloomfield, IN; mother, Emma M. Kidd; three sisters, Sherrill Clark, Peggy Johnson, husband Walter, Carol Tully; two brothers, William Clark, wife Nancy, and Thomas Clark, wife Sheila; five grandsons, Evan, Joshua, David Asa, Russell and Gary; six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Gary was a wonderful loving husband, father, and grandfather! Daddy, we will miss you! In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Final arrangements are entrusted to Shirley Brothers Irving Hill Chapel.
