Subject: Tech Veterians to be honored

We are trying to locate the men and women who served in the
armed forces that attended Tech.

The following info is needed...full name, grad. year, branch of service, living or deceased. We want to know about them even if they did not graduate, but went to Tech.

This is for the 100th Anniversary of Tech in 2012.

Send me the info, please and thank you.

graduation year 1950 u.s marine corps 1951-1953

Larry Joe Thomas graduated in 1955. He entered the United States Army in April 196 until 1966. He was a Staff Sargent when he got out.

served in the U.S ARMY

served usmc 1964 to 1968 went to vietnam in 1965 to 1966 got out of the service as a E5 sgt.

Norman G. Vonburg, USA, 1943-45, TSgt
Harry F. Vonburg, USN, 1943-45, Ltjg

Upon re-reading my last email concerning my brother and 2 uncles who served in the military, I see that I failed to note the year they graduated from Tech. William F. Byerly graduated in 1949, Norman G. Vonburg graduated in 1936, and Harry F. Vonburg graduated in 1926.

Graduated 1947. Entered Army Jan 1952, served in Korea, discharged Jan l954 as a Sargent First Class. Died 1-06-12.
