O'Haver, George A.

George Albert O'Haver 59, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2011. George was a lifelong resident of Indianapolis. He was the son of George Arthur and Florence A. (Wilson) O'Haver. He graduated from Arsenal technical High School in 1970, and married Ann F. Duncan in 1980. He graduated with honors from Lincoln Tech. He proudly served in the U.S. Army as a skilled E-5 Turbine engine mechanic for 12 years. George was a brilliant mechanic. In the later part of his mechanical career, he was the Senior shop technician for Re-Power! Inc in Indianapolis. His hobbies included radio-controlled boats, and he was a long time member of the Admirals RC Boat Club. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and co-workers! George is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Ann and sons George Jr, John, and mother, Florence. Preceding him in death were his father, and brother Richard. Funeral services were Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. in Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Memorials may be made to the American cancer Society @ www.cancer.org.
