Subject: Sue A. Asher Young (Obit) Class of 1956

Sue Ann Young 72, of Greenfield, passed away March 31, 2011. Sue Ann was born February 10, 1939 in Indianapolis to Melvin R. and Evelyn Mae (Minchin) Asher. She was a graduate of Arsenal Tech and then graduated from nursing school. Sue Ann worked as an industrial nurse for CMW, Inc. for over 22 years, retiring in 2001. She was a longtime and dedicated member of Ritter Avenue Free Methodist Church. Sue Ann is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, James Eugene Young, children, Mike (Mary Anne) Young, Mark (Julianne) Young and Kelly (Bob) Kandels; sister, Patricia (Ray) Smythe; grandchildren, Sam, Matt, Hannah, Caleb and Joseph Young and John Kandels and a host of in-laws and friends. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 5th in Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 6th at Ritter Avenue Free Methodist Church. Interment Washington Park East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church. Memorial tribute at: www. feeneyhornakshadeland.com
