William F. "Bill" Newhouse

of Indianapolis, passed away December 14, 2012. He was born August 2, 1939. Bill was preceded in death by his beautiful wife Chris of 48 years, his parents, Claude E. and Violet L. Newhouse, his brother Claude(Sonny) Newhouse, sister Penny Sue Thomas, and infant daughter December Leona. He is survived by his daughters, Kelly(Tom) Tex, Dawn(David) Marien, son, Dennis(Denise) Newhouse, granddaughter, Jessica (fiancé Justin Moore) Newhouse, and grandchildren, Matthew, Miranda, Nicholas, Alex, Tré, and Kinzi. Bill was a veteran of the United States Air Force which he served proudly in the Military Police from 1957-1961. He was a graduate of Arsenal Technical High School and attended the University of Maryland. He worked 33 years as a sales representative for May Mattress Co., retiring in 1999. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 from 11-3 PM followed by a service at 3 PM at Flanner and Buchanan - Washington Park East , 10722 E. Washington Street. In lieu of flowers, it was Bill's wishes that contributions in his memory be made to the Wounded Warriors Project at the funeral home or visiting http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
