Author: Liz Kramer [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 19:25:18 03/22/05 Tue Dear Alpha Chi Omega Alumni: We wanted to let you know of some of the events of Zeta Psi Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega. Thank you to those who attended our Parents/Alumni Dinner at the Praline Connection. The event was a great success! On Sunday, March 13th, we initiated 29 new members into the Zeta Psi Chapter (our total chapter now consists of 86 women). The new members come from all across the country: Texas, Massachusetts, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, Illinois, Colorado, Oklahoma, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, New Jersey, New York, and California. We are very excited to have them as full members in our sisterhood, and look for great things from them in the future. On April 13th from 7:30-10:30pm, we will be cosponsoring the Second Annual Purple Ribbon Benefit Concert with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority (AKA). The event, held on Loyola’s campus, will feature live musical entertainment and a silent auction. All proceeds will benefit our philanthropy, the victims of domestic violence. Please look for more information concerning this GREAT event via email and the Alumni Web board. We hope to see you there! Currently, the collegiate sisters of Alpha Chi are enjoying a much-needed rest, and enjoying Spring Break! After the break, we will be having our Alpha Chi Oasis/Luau Party. If you would like to make an announcement to the Alumni or send a message to the collegiate chapter, please let us know! We have also have 17 seniors graduating this year, so if you have any job/internship opportunities that you would like to forward on to them, please let us know. If you have not updated your contact information, please send us your name, email address, home address, phone number(s), year initiated, year graduated, bond number (if you have it), and whatever you can remember of your lineage. Also, if you keep in touch with any alumna who is not included on our list-serve, please forward her this email and encourage her to contact us.
