Author: Erik Venum
Subject: The road to Electramania intersects with the Highway to Hell Part 2

Venum and Jackson walk up to the old wooden door, with the wind brushing up against their faces. Venum pushes the door lightly and it slowly begins to open up. The door continues to swing open until it crashes into the stone wall. Venum walks ahead of both Jackson and his cameraman and heads into the darkened room, all that can be heard is the sound of very quiet squeaking sounds. Jackson looks around the room, only to realize that it is only lit up by a shimmer of moonlight, and once the door closes, he and his cameraman, will be in total darkness, and all alone. Jackson takes a deep breath and steps into the room taking a look around to see where Venum might have gone to, but he is unable to see anyone in the room, and the only sounds are heard, is that of his own breathing, and a small echoing of dripping water onto the cold cement floor. Jackson shakes his head and continues to walk forward, with his cameraman directly behind him, until he reaches a set of stairs. He looks behind him one last time at the partially open door, and one last look at the little light that he had. They take their first steps onto the staircase and the sounds of creaking echoes through out the tower, and bounces off the walls. The same thing happens as they take their second and third steps, only this time the creaking sound gets louder, and sounds worse then the previous step. The same thing happens when they take their remaining steps. Jackson begins breathing heavily, not knowing why he continues to travel up these loud creaking stairs in the darkness.

I cant believe Venum just left me here. I am gonna have a bone to pick with him when I get up there.

As they get closer to the top of the staircase, they can see some light emerging down this narrow staircase. Jackson begins walking faster and faster up the steps which makes the creaking sounds all the louder, and all the worse. But when he reaches the top, it is all worth it. All the noise that he made moving up the stairs was worth it. He has finally reached the top, and now is resting in a fully lit room, that is filled with numerous candles. Jackson begins looking around to see if Venum is here, so that they can finish what they started. But Venum isn’t here. So where is he? Jackson continues to look around and spots a large steel door directly in front of him. Jackson knows that rests on the other side of that door. That door is the mechanics door to get to the face of the clock. That door leads to the outside ledge. But he knows that if he doesn’t go through the door, that he will never see Venum again tonight. He walks up to the door and pulls with all his might. When the door pops open, the room is filled with a blast of cold air, as the outside breeze comes rushing in all of the candles immediately get extinguished. Jackson looks out the door, first to the left, and spots no one. He looks to the right, and sees Venum standing behind an old stone gargoyle. Jackson takes in a deep breath and takes his first step out on to the ledge, never taking his eyes off of Venum. He knows better then to looks down. It will freak him out, and throw his balance all off. His cameraman stays inside the door and just points the camera out towards the two men. With his eyes directly on Venum, he slowly inches his way over to the large wrestler who appears to be petting the stone gargoyle. Venum also appears to be speaking to the stone statue.

Lucy, its been a while since I have been up to see you. But never fear, I am back, and I am not going away, not anytime soon.

Venum, can we finish up please?

Sure thing. Now where was I? Oh yes. My opponents. Where to begin. Lets start with Chris Deville. The Great Bounty Hunter. I faced him in my very first match. I was hoping that he would prove to be a mighty challenge, but a challenge he was not. He had his mind on other things, probably one of his up coming bounty hunts. I do not imagine him being much of a challenge if any. I have one piece of advice for my dear bounty hunting friend. If he shows up, he better be bringing his A game. I don’t want to waist time with a half ass wrestler who is only their to get his ugly mug on TV. But if that is what he wants, then I will be more then happy to make his ugly mug, just a little bit uglier. But hey, that’s just if he chooses to show up. It wont matter. Its only one extra man in the match.

Venum begins walking along the ledge again, this time going farther and farther away from Jackson.

How bout your other opponents?

Like who? Klash? You forget, I disposed of him in my first match just like Deville. Klash, I am expecting to give me at least a little but more of a challenge then he did in our first go round. Keyword there is expecting. But if he brings the same old crap that he brought his last time out of the bag, then I am going to be very disappointed. I came here looking for a challenge, and thus far, I haven’t been given anything more then a little run around. You would figure that with 2 men in the same ring against you, that one of them would at least give you a challenge. But not these two. Not even close.

What about your other opponents? Derrick Anderson, Sinister, Hardcore Khan? These are some top notch wrestlers. You can not just over look them. You have to watch your back Venum. Two men, I have seen you handle that, but this match is against five other guys. Its next to impossible. You better be on the top of your game.

Jackson, you are over reacting. I don’t know near enough about any of my other opponents to get to worried, or to confident. To me, they are nothing more then everyday regular opponents. Doesn’t matter if they are past champions, or have beaten many men, nor does it matter if they are rookies or veterans. Have they been in matches like this before? Hardcore matches? Cage matches? Cell matches? Or my personal favorite, Casket Matches? Who the hell cares, it doesn’t matter that I have been in all sorts of matches, and I have won numerous times in each variety. This match is not all that special. Throw in a handful of wrestling hopefuls, and a shot at a title, and its all business. With a title shot on the line, I will be showing up. Lets just hope that they do. I just don’t want to have another wasted night. Either way, I am walking into that ring with five other men, and I will be walking out with that title shot. The Road to Electromania intersects with the Highway to hell. These boys who I am fighting at Glory better enjoy the ride along the way.

Venum walks back towards Jackson and right past him. He walks through the door and back down the stairs. Jackson quickly begins following him down the stairs, with the cameraman close behind. And the scene fades to black.
