Subject: The Golden Boy vs Mogilla Gorilla

The night skies of Cairo are clear with no visible clouds in the air. The stars shine brightly, like pinholes in the blanket of night. The air is calm, with no noticeable breeze gently blowing across the land.

Through all of Cairo, the sounds of busy night life is heard; people chatting away, cars driving about the street, and so on. The foreign Egyptian language is very hard to understand, and conversations are difficult to initiate.

The temperature continually drops as the moon slowly climaxes it’s way to the top of the sky. With no breeze, a smell of cool night air can be sensed. Occasionally the smell of car exhaust lingers through the air, but not in a large mass.

Oh, I oh so love the night life. Nothin better in the world. It’s easy to see that Curtis Mayhem is enjoying himself as usual. A newcomer to the CWF, Curtis looks at every match the same way.

There’s only a few simple rules in the world of wrestling, he begins. Size doesn’t matter, unless it’s in the bedroom. Experience doesn’t matter. Unless of course, it’s in the bedroom. And technique is key! Especially on Saturday night, if ya know what I mean. The egotistical Mayhem is walking the streets of Cairo, dressed in his usual odd attire.

His hair is down, flowing with each step he takes. An unbuttoned shirt, neatly decorated with flowers and palm trees, exposes some gold chains worn around his neck. As if it were a trademark of his, blue bandanas are worn around his wrists, giving him a 1980’s style look. A pair of tight red and black pants decorate his lower body, and needless to say, causes several passersby to look at him with raised eyebrows.

So this is the city. This is where Glory takes place. Cairo, Egypt. National Stadium. This is where the spotlight shines. We gotta non title triple threat match, and two P.R.O. qualifying matches. Sure, the non title triple threat should be good, but above and beyond that, I’m thinkin that everyone has their eyes on the rookies. The new guys. The “easy wins.” Maybe we prosper, maybe we fail.

Curtis then stops and chuckles for a moment. Yeah right, like I fail. He continues his walk down the streets of Cairo, eyeing up the women that he passes by.

It’s actually pleasing to know that Johnny B thinks that I’m just a “rookie.” I hope he’s knows that I’m not just a rookie. I may be new to CWF, but I’m not a rookie. What does he think? That Prez Stevens hires guys that are complete pushovers? Curtis questions, shaking his head with misunderstanding thoughts.

I got hired for a reason, Johnny. I’m not a pushover. I’m not an easy win. Sure, at first glance, your first thought is “no problem.” Hey, fine by me Muscles, you can think all ya want. When the bell rings, you won’t be able to think.

Curtis lets out a sigh as he chuckles again, looking for answers. I just don’t understand how a big drink of water like Bistiza can be upset about being in a title tournament. It’s a chance to hold some gold. And the gorilla is upset? Why? A chance to have a title under YOUR name, and yet he complains. I just don’t understand. Sure, he’s World Title material, but all he’s done is cry a river the size of the Nile about how he has to fight a “rookie.”

If it’s that much to cry about Johnny, just don’t show up. If ya don’t want a shot at bein the first ever P.R.O. champion, just quit and leave. Hell, don’t even show up. Just pack yer bags, and meet us in Scotland for next week, ok?

The witty sarcasm is now oozing out of Curtis with every step he takes, each one more full of pride than the last. Oh, and I just couldn’t wait to comment on Bistiza’s lame threats.

Curtis then begins to imitate Bistiza. Me feel bad for Curtis. He thrown in path of locomotive. Johnny SMASH!!!

I’ve been thrown in front of a loco, that’s for sure! Supposedly I’m gonna be run over…seeing that I’m waiting here, in Egypt. So? Where’s the Bistiza Express? Should I expect him to show up, or does he need an extra hanky to wipe away all those tears since he has to face a “rookie” like myself?

John Bistiza never forgets.
Curtis looks down at the ground, a look of wonder on his face. John Bistiza never forgets? Well, that’s just FINE by me.

Ya see, it goes like this. Those childish threats are gonna get ya nowhere around me, Johnny. Yer just a muscle filled mass that can attract a few hundred people into an arena for Prez Stevens. But me? I’m the real deal. You never forget? GOOD! Then hear me out on this. The night after Glory, you’ll wake up in a hospital. Tubes up yer nose, sittin on a bedpan, eatin watered down pudding from a tin can, and watchin daytime T.V. and wearin paper slippers. Yer memory’s gonna be a little fuzzy, but you’ll remember it all right. You’ll reach over to the table next to you, grab the morning paper, and there you’ll read it. In BIG BOLD LETTERS!

Curtis shouts out, his arms extended into the air, a smile on his face from ear to ear. The headline will say it all. “Curtis Mayhem just made John Bistiza famous!”
