. she laughed at the sight of her lover's face. Of course she had no intention to pay for the clothes. What fun was it to be a vampire and have to have a day job. Wait--vampires couldn't have day jobs. The thought of it tickled her fancy but she managed to keep it to herself. She looked at her Sariel, the daughter whom she had grown to love and cherish, perhaps more than eternal life itself. She looked then to the man whom she loved dearly and she knew that should her long cold heart actually beat once more that it would beat forever for him. They would certainly be soulmates--if they had souls of course but seeing as they didn't she knew that they would stay together until the world ends and then in Hell they would remain together. Heaven sure as hell didn't want them. Not after all the havoc and destruction they would cause. She smiled at him- the blue eyes sparkling with a new light. It was time to change their daughter and to bring her with them into an everlasting life where they would remain for eternity. A ivory hand ran down Sariel's face, breaking off it's touch at her jawline.

You must hold still my dear. It may hurt a little at first but so you will join us in eternal life..

. she allowed the change to occur. The demonic features took over the face, though the eyes were still the angelic blue they had always been. The teeth transformed themself, the canines elongating and pointing like a viper's fangs. Yes, the ultimate hunter was not the famed king of the jungle but rather those who walk at night. The undead hunters who feast on the blood of ill-fated mortals. Those were the real 'kings of the jungle'--for no lion ever instilled a fear of the dark. Yet the movies and books written about their noble breed were so terrifying that many of the adults cannot sleep after seeing or reading them. She was a huntress of the highest degree and she would take pleasure in this; for this made her daughter part of the noble race that walked this earth when the moon shown in the darkened skies. She looked to Angelus, awaiting his transformation for it was only right that both be the sire of this child. They were, after all, Sariel's parents. Were they not??
