April 28-29 (Open) ; May 5-6 (coed)

Ithaca United Soccer Club (IUSC) and Lifa Soccer Aacdemy is pleased to extend a warm invitation to you to come participate (as a team or individual) in the 15th Annual Gordon “Guthrie” Campbell Fundraising Soccer Tournament scheduled on the following weekends:
Dates:
April 28 & 29, 2012 (Saturday and Sunday) – Open Tournament
May 5 & 6, 2012 (Saturday and Sunday) – Coed Tournament
(in case one weekend is rained out, it will be postponed to the weekend of May 12-13)
Place: Cass Park Field 3, Ithaca NY (on Rt. 89 by the lake).
Team Fee: $200 – Guaranteed minimum 3 games.
Format is two 25-minute halves, 7 a side. (Coed plays 2 women minimum)
Registration Deadline is April 27th for the open tournament and May 2nd for the coed tournament. But let us know your interest as soon as possible.

LIFA Soccer Academy is looking for competitive teams.
Our goal is to target young players that are serious about the game and offer them a place where they can improve their technique by exposing them to a more professional environment.
We strongly believe that it is important to support those who love and respect the game.
Our league will challenge players in a competitive and safe environment.
BASIC RULES
- The game is played in two 25 minutes games with a three-minute intervals between halves.
- All games have a continuing clock (clock may stopped for injury only at the referee's discretion)
- The visiting team team has possession for kick-off in the first half
- Kick-offs can go to any direction
THE PLAYERS AND OFFICIALS
- Seven players comprise a team on the field (including the goalie)
- Free substitutions - all players, including goalkeeper, may change while the flow of the game continues. Any number of substitutions may be made during game
- Referee on the field have total jurisdiction over the game
INFRACTIONS AND RESULTING PENALTIES
- For all Misconducts (the referee will show a yellow card), offended player must sit out for (3) minutes in length
RED CARDS
- A player that has been shown a red card for a violent misconduct or second yellow must leavue the field and bench area; the offended team play short (5) minutes
ROSTERS/PLAYERS
- All players must have filled a league registration form and be at least 16 years old (players under 18 MUST have a parent sing the registration form)
- Teams must have a minimum of 8 active player roster
- All substitute players must be pre-approved by League Administrator.
- Any player or team with an outstanding debt after 2 games will be removed from the league
- Roster may not exceed 15 active players
- All players must have matching jerseys/shirts
- Jerseys/shirts must have number(s)
- All players must check in and sing sheet before each game
TEAM'S FEE $880
Includes (10) games and referee's fee
15 players max. for roster
Single players welcome
