You are doing the right thing. Tough love is very hard. So bad did I want to call my ex this weekend because him and I were friends too and I can talk to him easier than almost anyone...but I resisted. My son cannot go through that again. And your little one cannot either. Stick to your guns. It is the healthiest way. This is what I ask myself. "Do I want my sons mind going as crazy as mine over his dad?" NO I DON'T and I know you don't either. I rather bear the pain and have him happy. I am not hurting that bad on the outside but the inside, man, it hurts, but I live my life as if I am fine.
