Kel is completely right. It happened that way with my sister. We were alienated by her and encouraged her to get help over and over. Even after her daughters were taken away she still used. a year and a half later she finally stopped, she hit her lowest point ever giving birth to her 3rd daughter and being tested positive for meth right in the hospital. Her baby was taken away from her and she was put in jail for outstanding warrants. She went from the hospital to a cell. She had no way of taking care of herself for 10 days. No sitz baths nothing for her after giving birth. She was infected and sick. She went into drug rehab after that and has stayed clean. She got custody of her baby and has been working the same job for well over a year. She had to change her life on her own and she did. I'm just praying she continues in the same path.
