Hi Kelly,
I guess we all just go thru the same things over over again. I finally had to learn to completely get out of the way and let my ex fall on his own - which he did. He was broken for a long time and realized that because we we're not there for him anymore, he had to let go of us and work on himself. He then really searched for God. The relationship that he has with God now is so much more meaningful to him because there were no comforters for him and his sickness. It is an amazingly healing thing to watch - from afar, even though the process can be painful. I had to learn how to "pay attention to my own signals". In everything, God calls us to live in peace and I went searching for my peace in prayer. God's promises tell us that He wants us to live in joy and love and to me this meant I had to look for my peace with Him. I would have to just keep hanging on to Him and all of the positives in my life working hard to push away the past and the negatives. One day at a time. I will lift you in prayer. Thank you for coming in here.
Hugs to you and God Be with you.
Your sister in Christ,
Hulalea
