It takes time -and the love for yourself to not allow the abuse any longer. Your on the right path -keep on chugging along and keep your faith in GOD and you'll get there! It's not been an easy road for me and I sometimes feel myself slipping into feeling sorry for myself or sad that he turned out the way he did. But, those days get fewer and fewer with time away, energy put into the positive, prayer, and the overwhelming need to give my daughter all the love and attention I can muster. :)
