Yea, I am lucky he no longer spews his anger out towards me. The only reason he doesn't call or show up to see his daughter is b/c I told him unless he can show negative drug testing, he is not to contact us. I also changed my daughters cell phone # and her email address just in case. He told me once -when he got off drugs-that when he was on meth he demonized me (lucky me!-haha). I am pretty sure that's another reason he doesn't try to contact his daughter -afraid of the demon that I am (if he only knew how I worried about his health and safety). Additionally, even if he did try to contact us, my daughter wants nothing to do with him and hates him to the core. That is something that I do not believe will ever change no matter what he does or doesn't do. So, in a way it is much much easier for me to move on than a lot of you on here.
Keep the faith, stay strong. That's why is site is great, when we have our weak moments, you are all there to remind us that 'this too shall pass'. :)
God Bless.
And Shari -My prayers are with you and your family!
