My ex's family has nothing to do with my son ever. I told them they can call and visit whenever and once he gets to know them they can pick him up. I have not heard a word. Bernie is the man that gave Spencer a roof over his head and has worked with him on getting his life back together, so there is no relation at all. He has actually enabled my ex by giving him everything and not letting him hit rock bottom. I think Bernie is a wonderful person and like me, likes to help people. But when they don't help themselves, when do you say enough is enough? Sooner or later if my ex continues to use, he will leave Bernie's house and go back where he was before - with his drug friends.
Bernie will probably continue to try to help him.
