Thank you to all who took the time to answer! I am still trying to find out all that is going on. I know these facts after speaking to a detective, his attorney and several officers of the court today that he was in court this morning and is still in jail. He does want to get out but has not contacted a bail bondsmen. He has not phoned and does not want me to know what is going on. He was officially charged today with 9 felonies and 2 mis-deme. all for theft, burglary and conspiracy. There may be more charges to come as he is being investigated for his hand in 3 armed robberies at his work, all of which took place when he was working. He is a flight risk and the judge would not reduce his bail. THANK GOD!! because I do know that he needs to be there! I also spoke to his lawyer today and he was not aware of his drug problems...he is now. I hope it was right to be honest and tell him. I also told him that he was suicidal and he said he would see him in the morning. I only gave him one message, I love you. Nothing else. That's enough for now right? Until he gets his head together? I did tell the lawyer that I will not help out with his bail. Another good thing to come out of this is the fact that he was arrested with another guy during the burglary and this person was a minor. The court appointed the minor with a public defender so my brother couldn't get one because of a conflict of interest. The state will pay for his attorney instead. Maybe he stands a better shot with this attorney. I know that is sad to say but I have heard very bad things about the public defenders office. Anyhow, I will post again once I read up on meth and cocaine use and maybe I will be even more freaked out and need another shoulder. Thanks so much again...
