Although I never saw it, the tweakers that I was around were shooting up, and my q-tips always disappeared. It was explained to me later that a cigarette filter would be used in the syringe to filter out the impurities that weren't liquid prior to the substance hitting their veins. I asked this person if that is why my q-tips always disappeared, and he told me that q-tips usually weren't used...then why did they disappear...especially when the two tweakers I was around rolled their own and rarely had cigarette filters.
