I get half way done reading and you are asking about you pushing them to do something like get a job, etc. Let me tell you this. If they are serious about recovery - they will do it for themselves. You give them a place to stay and that's all you should be doing. Don't do for the addict what they can do for themselves. Does someone have to push you to get your life in order? If you have to push them to do anything then they aren't really ready to quit. If they don't do it, it will be obvious and your life WILL end up in turmoil, the turmoil that addiction causes even if you think it won't. Good luck. Change is pretty obvious and if their's isn't - you need to take a look at what you are handing them. For their sake I really hope they get clean. For your sake I hope you don't have to deal with more than you should which is nothing at all. Addicts are liars and manipulators. I know, I am married to one and he did so much to my family for so long, now he is doing it somewhere else because someone else decided to hold the cushion to break his fall.

Pray for clean friends. =)

Heather
