So many levels I do NOT agree with that site. It demonizes the addict. If you do not allow yourself to feel empathy for the addict you will never truly understand the addict. It talks how the addict only cares for their drug, not true the addict loves their children and feels remorse but feels the compulsion to use and feels very guilty to be around their child when high on their drug that they are desperately addicted to. Talks how the addict does not face their trauma? A truly traumatic event can happen to a 2 year old. How can you face something you do not remember? When something is traumatic it has changed your wiring as a person, how do you face that? Then the alien thing is just turning the tables on Robert A Heinlein’s book “Stranger in a Strange Land” (A.K.A the Hippie bible) I stated in the beginning of the Helpful Tips that “forcing your beliefs down your addicts throat will make them run, they are not ready for all that pressure.” This is what I feel this site is doing. Addiction has less to do about the drug then the problems of the addict/person. It also fails to face the facts that Drugs work; it is the addiction that is the problem. Good Luck.

Addiction and disease:
This is an excellent site for explanation. The point is an addict wants to quit but cannot they mentally and physically need it to live. Rather die than not use; their mind is diseased with this disorder. I know it is a choice at first, a choice to feel good, and have fun like going to the movies. With drugs in time that choice you made tricks you in to thinking that you need it to live than it becomes addiction (disease.) Good Luck.

This is a great site also good for teens(10 yrs old and up start early). This site does not exaggerate the down side of meth because it does not have to. It is truthful and correct about today’s meth users, labs, and beliefs. Good Luck.
