that's the beauty of a user's logic, it is funny, sad and outragous- all at the sametime. i would say, sorry babe, these are consequences. ok, more like, OHhellNO. your right - she may have lost that one active brain cell. at least in jail she might get some insight into being sick and tired of being sick and tired. then she can take it a step further that everyone ELSE is sick and tired of the behavior, too. i read one post that said not to give up on the addict. sorry, i ain't buying it. show me- don't promise, beg, lie, plead, say you have 'changed' or anything else. show me. prove it. get a job. pay your bills. get somewhere to live. be a responsible person. you made the mess out of your life, now you learn how to fix it. the user in my life will have to prove it a thousand times over because i am sick and tired of the BS. the only money i am giving (user) is the jar of IOU's for their crap. the money stopped. the phone number has changed. they can work it out. hang in there bren!
