Well I feel like I'm reading my life, only in better words. I'm so happy to have found this site. I've been on and off with a pot/crack/meth user for 14 years. We were married in 93, had our first baby in 94, left him in 95, had our second baby in 96, left him in 96, at our last baby in 01, left him in 01. (We divorced in 97) So that is me and Adam, up and down. I love him, God knows I do. He lives about 100 miles from us. I haven't heard from him since he found out I was taking him back to court for non-child support $43,000. He cussed me out about that one! He came at Christmas with $23 cash and fingernail polish for the girls and a race car for our 4 year old. He showed up last weekend with a cell phone for our 12 year old. Said he was going to keep the minutes up for her. I found out he was dating someone and it killed me. I started crying and telling him I love him. Why do I do that? I think about how it is with him, yet the thought of him being with someone else kills me. Well I found out she has pink hair and no front teeth. I thought, well maybe she's a user too. I don't know...still trying to be a strong mother for these kids and don't sink into his world. Glad to have found this website!
