Subject: Something interesting to read - excerpt from the book of Lakoff about framing used in politics - Republicans do it in a pretty professional way. It's a pretty good concept for understanding for understanding how the point of view originates - for example Shauns.......

Once such a basic concept is fixed, everything is viewed from within it, and it's permanently maintained and stabilized by consuming respective stuff.

My basic concept is close to what he has as the progressive one. It contains for example a basic focus on understanding - while Shauns focus in the same situation would be on fighting. When the world is basically viewed as hostile environment, that's the inevitable consequence. Diversity tends to get experienced as threat, while for me it's more sort of enrichment.
