Well, we did it, left Yateley at 4.00am with Nina Yogi and Darren. Caught the 6.00am ferry to Calais, drove through France, Belguim, Holland and Finally Germany. Took 3 Hours. Darrens sat nav took us right to the Trekker!! Awesome bit of kit... have to get one! Trekker was better than expected, had a bar metal resto, the owner gave me the cd rom of all the work he did in the two months he took off work to restore the car. Full on project, it was rotten as hell when he got it! We stayed there for a while and Yogi did all the sorting out for me,(cheers dude) Had a coffee, left Krefeld and then drove all the way back at a leisurely 60mph. Got back to Yateley at midnight!!! Never driven so far in one day! Basically its the same as glasgow and back!! 1200 kilometers in 18 hours! A big thanks to my fellow drivers, its defintely a lot less painful with 4 drivers and was a good day out.

If you want to save a lot of money its the way forward!

£100 ferry
£200 petrol total for both cars
£38 to register the trekker
£10 Mcdonalds!

Just make sure you take the next day off though, i'm knackered!
