Think you took my comments about money the wrong way... believe me i've certainly spent a lot of money over the years on vw's, its hard not too!! Its just you asked for an opinion and from experience you tend to find more hidden nightmares on the sort of resto your considering. At the end of the day just offering my 2 pence worth from previous experiences. At the end of the day when its all done from shitbox to show car its all worth it. Good luck, pop down the club, lots of peeps in the club with knowledge and ideas. If you use some of the suppliers like german and swedish we've discount with them and a few others. Go to volksworld next weekend, stacks of spares and traders.
