Hi, I was just wondering if anyone could help with a problem I'm having...

I have a '69 Bug which has developed an ignition problem over the last couple of days.
It started running slightly 'lumpy' yesterday evening, stalling at traffic lights, etc, but not really bad enough for me to worry too much (had the same probs in the winter, they stopped as the weather warmed up).

However I have just had to be towed home as the car is now dead :(
It started ok when I left here, didn't have any troubles getting into town, but when I came back to the car and tried to start it the engine wouldn't fire.

The starter turns over fine, everything *looks* fine in the engine bay, but there doesn't appear to be any spark from the HT leads.

Any help that you can offer would be much appreciated

Thanks,

Rob
