Subject: ********VolksWorld Show Club Display******** Author: Spyderman [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: Wed, 18 February 2004, 16:01 Hi Guys, I called Evan again today, and we are confirmed at the VolksWorld show for the club stand now. Display vehicles will be: Kenton’s Microbus, Danny/Burns/Sexpest/Sunbeam’s ’74 bug, Beanie’s “Sandybutt”, Paul KD’s Oval, Gaz’s Mk2 GP Buggy People displaying vehicles get free weekend tickets (but will still need camping tickets), and will all need to get there either Friday evening (by about 19.30ish) or Saturday morning (by about 08.30 latest) to put your cars in. I’ll be ordering some extra advance weekend tickets (£14) and some camping tickets (£15) for the club next week I expect, so let me know! Errrrrrrrrm wot else.. The display stand….. Last year worked pretty well really I think. The Gazebo was really handy so we’ll need one of those again (anyone got a decent one?) Gaz & Bel sorted out notice boards last year (have you still got ‘em?), and as we have a graphic designer amongst us now (BURNSIE!!!) we could do with some nicely laid out printouts of the vehicles on display with writeups and a bit of blurb on the club. Anyone with bits for sale that aren’t too big, bring ‘em along on the day. If you’ve got a set of wheels to sell, maybe bring them along, put one out at the stand & keep the others in your car.
