I have alot to say on this, I was discharged 20years ago. There has not been one day I have not found myself thinking about the Marine Corps, my fellow Marines and or the battles that they face. I tryed to re-enlist, but my time was done, I use what i learned in the Corps to help raise my family. When disaplining my daughter, I had her write a page for each of the words, Honor, Truth, Respect.
I've tryed to show them that living to a higher standard will make you a better person.
I'm not perfect and I do have my bad or off days like the rest of the world. But My core values are every thing to me, My wife says I'm a big Boy Scout, Im overly honest and try to help every one and put my self last. My service to this country affected me and I will always work to make it a better place and more secure, even if I lack the funds to build tall buildings or make a park for kids to play in. If i raise my children and show them that we are the best place to be and we must fight to keep our freedoms, then ive done my part. God Bless America
