Subject: 3/1 Vets in Georgia

Served in 3/1 Kilo as retread in 70-71. Joined as PFC, left as Sgt. Got to H&SCo as AdminChf, Sgt Strange took over as I went to 3dMar HqsCo as Head Scout/Snipers. Remember WO Yantorn, gave my deer knife to a clerk. Folks at the last Kilo 3/1 before all returned to Camp Horno at CamPen, were great buddies: Paulsen, Cochran, Rogers, etc.
Like to hear of all former Marines living in Georgia. Also, any from my old units 1stForce Recon, 3dReconBn Khe Sanh, PhuBai and Dong Ha in '68 with 2/4 at DaiDo. Grad SDiego '62 fr Plt 140-7, saw Sgt (Lt) Rine in Japan in '83.
Retired(24yrs)in '86 Major (MGySgt). Keeping all in my prayers! Aloha.
