Subject: making a book for dad's birthday

hello all
my siblings and i are making a book for my father for his 60th birthday in November commemorating his Marine Corp service from Nov. 1961 - March 1966. He served as a part of the 3/1. We are looking for some info to fill in blanks in his service record. Such as what did a BarMan do? Would he at that time had to have completed The Crucible in order to graduate from Basic Training? etc. We are trying to gather as much info as we can on our own without asking him. Anyone who may be able to help with more info please contact me via Email above. Or may you happened to have served with him. His name is Corporal William D. Phillips. He was honorably discharged on March 23, 1966 from Camp Pendleton, California. Thank you in advance for your help. We would be glad to add your name to our "Special Thanks" section of the book.

The family of Corporal William D. Phillips
