Author: sammy [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 11:45:05 01/13/03 Mon Hi there- I just read a question from someone on the "Gullsway" ML -- She said that she's seen DHK on a series on Lifetime on Sunday nights called "For the people". It appears to be more than a guest role, as he's been on more than once. Has anyone seen this show or has anyone heard about it? I do think that DHK doesn't get the respect and publicity he deserves as an actor. I know he's very private, but at the same time he needs more promotion in order to get the high profile roles (and big bucks!) he should be getting. For example, if he had an official website or newsletter (online) that would list his projects current and past, his fans could show support by watching the shows and emailing the networks that show them. This kind of feedback is so important. If producers get a great response after having him on a show, they will be more likely to ask him back for more episodes, or consider him for his own show. It just amazes me when you read about a series he's in that hasn't been mentioned on any of the boards, because no one- even his biggest fans know he's on! [ Post a Reply to This Message ]

The Episode was entitled: Episode 17 - POWER PLAY. I telephoned the network in NY and asked them point blank if he was to be a regular on the show and their respoinse was, "...he is not listed as a regular. No." I am going to ask you all to jot off a post card (Only one)or email to them telling them how much you enjoyed seeing him on the show and how much his presence added to your enjoyment of it. Let them know that you would like to see him again. Remember to wirte out his full name Daniel Hugh Kelly. (LOL No abbreviations - and please do not refer to him as Ben Cartwright LOL) also be sure to include the name and number of the episode. Two months have now passed and our number has grown to 142 eager DHK fans. I have muddled through them and weeded out the curiosity seekers and such, and still our number is so impressive!! Interested fans continue to email me looking for his schedules and wanting to receive the mailing at a rate of about 2 to 3 each week!!!
