I loved the show at the Masquerade,
A memory that'll never fade.
The crowd was great - each one a fan,
There to hear the blues-playin'-bass-man.
When you played the last song, my eyes filled with tears,
I was saying goodbye to 3 1/2 years.
Every time I've seen you - you've put a smile on my face,
And Sunday night you rocked the whole place.
Your songs are funky & funny and they make me dance,
I came out to see you at every chance.
I've done lots of booty shakin' and have bared it too!
Wore your stickers and showed those two :-)
This is not a 'Good-Bye' - just a 'Until I see you again'.
Can't begin to tell you how much fun it's been.
I've never refused your funky blues,
The best is wished for each one of you.
