Good advice DR,
I used to live in Italy and spent some time in Rome. I heard the Pope speak when I was there, there were about 100 of us in a side chamber with him, and the current Pope introduced him. I liked the man and believed he loved G-d. I didn't get the same feeling from the rest of the Catholic Church in Italy. As a whole, I do believe it is a cult. They worship Mary, which is clearly forbidden by G-d they pray to the dead, again forbidden the list goes on and on. But I'll refer to DR's comment on the previous thread, G-d looks at motive/heart. Are they incorrect? You bet, and many are dammed. But some are operating in the best knowledge they have and G-d will judge accordingly.
Shalom in Him,
Rabbi Stanley
