Shalom Kimberly,
I agree with you, but we have to determine what we mean when we say "Law". The Law can mean different things. For example... It can mean the Torah (the first 5 books of Moses). It can mean the Old Testament or it can mean the entire Bible. It can also mean the Oral Law. We also have to take into consideration that some Laws only had to be obeyed when in HaAretz (The Land). There are some Laws that are only for Jews. I don't believe that Gentiles have to be circumcised. Is it a good idea? Yes it is. What about eating kosher? No, they don't have to do that either. Is it a good idea? Yes it is. I look at it this way. If my dad told my brother not to eat pork because it's unclean, then I would naturally listen and also not eat pork (see my article on the dangers of pork at http://birdflu.homestead.com). But is it a requirement for Gentiles? No it isn't. But Gentile Christians are indeed breaking many Laws that are required. Like keeping the Sabbath. In Biblical times, if you did not keep Shabbat, you were stoned to death! It was a crime with the ultimate penalty. Gentile Christians today just blow it off. That's a slap in G-d's face. Also keeping the Feasts of the L-rd is a requirement. As I've said before they are not "The feasts of Israel". The Bible never says the Feasts of Israel, it says "The Feasts of G-d"! To not keep them is a sin. As with any sin, it has to be committed with full knowledge. But now you know so it is required of you (I'm not talking to you personally Kimberly, I know you already know this).
Shalom in Him,
Rabbi Stanley
