The age of accountability is generally between 12-15 years of age for a male and a year or so younger for a female. This is a general idea. The fact is that it differs from individual to individual. It's all about what they know. Our entire walk with Yeshua is no different. We are responsible for that which we understand, so we are all on different levels.
The age of accountability is celebrated in Judaism with a Bar Mitzvah. It is a relatively new ceremony however and not strictly from Biblical sources. The Bar Mitzvah has been around for about a century and contrary to what many think, it is not necessary to have a bar mitzvah in order to be Jewish or to be a man according to Jewish Law.
