Shalom Martin and welcome to the Mosaic Board.
First I need to correct something. You are referring to my dad's books on prophecy. His name is also Stan Chester. His ministry is "Torah Light Ministries" and mine is "Mosaic Ministries". Our theology is similar and concerning your question here on covenants... he and I agree.
What you have here is a mix up of some truth and error. First we'll start with what a covenant IS. It comes from the Greek and does mean to split in half. What they would do is kill an animal and separate it in two parts. So yes, there was bloodshed but no pool of blood. Also they didn't cut themselves. This is pure myth coming from the Indian stories. David and Jonathon made a covenant and never cut themselves. It is forbidden in the Bible to mutilate ones self (unless you count circumcision, which of course is also a covenant)
Yes he does have some copies of some of his books left but he's running out quickly so order them fast.
Appreciate your question,
Rabbi Stanley (Jr.)
