Where are you & your jeep located?

My guess is that it is doubtful that the pink slip VIN has anything right. I've had at least 50 jeeps, and in all but 4 instances there was something screwed up on the Pink.
1st check the frame X-member under the radiator. Tube = Willys MB, Square channel = Ford GPW. If it is Ford, they didn't use a frame serial # plate - it was stamped right into the frame rail. go to my webpage on SERIAL NUMBERS to learn how to locate it.
