1942 Script GPW -Finished, Show Quality Restoration Serial 31308

For Sale: One finished 1942 GPW #31308. Show quality restoration that required most of the end of 2006 and almost all of 2007. Complete body off and frame off bolt by bolt restoration and complete engine, transmission, axle overhaul. The effort was to produce a GPW as close to original delivery condition as possible. We achieved the intended result. Has to be seen and driven to be appreciated.... Over $17,000 expended in restoration (documented)& doesn't include the initial cost of the jeep...Needs nothing but a dedicated collector of excellent restored World War Two vehicles and to be respected and driven..The jeep performs with no flaws and to specifications in every area ...intense attention to detail. Full HiRes photo package available along with extensive restoration details and history. The frame and glove numbers match...the engine sports a military reconditioning tag on a mid war # willys MB block with a script F head. The jeep is available for sale privately until December 15th, 08 at $24,500. After that date I will retain the jeep and begin prepare to deliver it to RM classic car auctions for an early February auction. {Because of holiday drama and travel I will not be available with any degree of certainty to schedule appointments to view it and to arrange to meet a shipper and etc before the jeep goes to auction}.
