,,,Lee,,I had a good message for you last time and messed it up...I had a boat motor that had the same type of a problem as yours...I blamed Gas density and light corrosion in the areas you have not touched yet..Do not be afraid to get in there with torch tip cleaners and literaly ream or clean good...I used a micromiter and literaly opened up the original idle jet 3 thousands before I could get that motor to not have a ween spit and spudder,,,I think it takes more fuel on an idle today because of the lack of lead and crap in the fuel,,,It sounds like untill you get into the throat of the barrel and open things up ,,just a hair..Picture just scathing the color off...Good Luck,,,Ben
