The wolf and the raven watch. The wolf siblings fight amongst themselves? Drekka contemplates this. She had begun to walk over to end the conflict when the argument of the siblings happened. Her dark fur bristles.

Then Diablo howls for her. She sighs and approaches the wolves. Her paws utter no sound. At last, she appears from the treeline behind the Kerl. The wolves barely notice her until she speaks in her clear, powerful voice. "Hold fast, my loyal Balkar. You have done well in protecting my lands. Now, Kerl, speak your name and your buisness here. And do not fear me yet." Frarrow the raven opens his wings and, with a click of his beak at Letha's raven, he soars down to Drekka and lands on her back.
