Demon smirked slightly-such a curious wolf this one was. But he continued to say nothing, for he knew his tongue could get him into serious trouble. Instead, he lowers to sit on his raven haunches, remaining fixed upon Brechin.

Diablo nods, gaze shifting to Demon for a moment. Obviously he wasn't in the mood to speak. He turned back to Brechin, speaking softly.

"We were Kerls for most of our life-pack life was unknown to us until now."

He though for a moment after. They had spent most of their life as kerls, etching their own niche in the wilderness. As the saying went, kill or be killed. They had thrived, surprisingly. Most wolves would have been weakened, but not these. Each had been to hell twice and back, though in their own way. But why say to much? What Diablo had said was enough.
