A few disapointed squaks were given to the female as she lay on the ground, but soon several of the feathered pests came fluttering down. One took place upon her head, bending over to look at her with a curious gaze, a small nibble given to the space between the Balkar's eyes. Three more settled upon her frame, one to the shoulders and two on her back, all in a row. Little coos and cries sounded from them as if they were carrying on conversation in their own language, and indeed, they were.
A number more avians drifted towards the now more interesting Diablo, grins playing upon seemingly immobile[sp?] faces. Wings flapped in the snowy male's face as one of the birds allowed itself to be caught, the others swarming him as they had done to the ebon hued killer not too far off.
