In reply to: Caedes 's message, "Watching" on 21:11:37 02/22/03 Sat

Chiiresusu, unaware of Caedes' presence for the moment, rose in a flurry of silver and powder. Her own paws made no sound as she moved forward, towards her brother and his never-ending pacing. It was starting to annoy her, making her alarmed and nervous, so she tried to find a way to stop it. Placing herself directly in his path her crystal-blue orbs narrowed as she stared directly into her brothers eyes. She spoke, soft but loud enough for Diablo and Caedes to hear.

"Stop it. Why do you pace so? What has disturbed you so greatly, my kin?"

Demon, still chanting, plowed full into his sister without truly knowing it, before he leapt back and bristled, dark orbs flashing. He paused with a strangled snarl, but it tapered off as recognition glinted in his troubled orbs. He bared his teeth slightly and paused a long moment before replying. He continued pacing in his circle until he was on the otehr side, and with a growl began to speak. His voice was extremely deep, but also very gravelly, and he started his sentence with a snarl.

"Can't you feel it, Chijiresusu? Someone is coming..."

Blinking, as if not recognizing the femme, he glanced about, rumbling his chant.

Chijiresusu was now greatly disturbed. She didn't understand why the being that may be arriving made any difference. A kerl was a kerl. She stepped forward, nudging his muzzle roughly, forcing him to look into her eyes. She felt like shuddering as she did-his lamps were so disturbing, so... hellish. But she managed not too and spoke through clenched teeth. This nonsense about ones arrival was beginning to make her as anxious as he.

"You fool! What does it matter?"

She kept rotating her crania to keep his orbs upon her, her hissing whisper quite loud in the temporary silence of the terra.

The ivorn male now stood up, nipping Chijiresusu roughly on the shoulder. He spared a glance in Caedes direction, though it was simply out of instinct. He had no idea she was there, his glance only peripheral. His voice was more controlled as he stood a few feet away, rumbling voice calling them to attention.

"Chijiresusu, this may matter all the difference."

He sent her a meaningful glance-it would be best if she remained calm, who knew what Demons' reaction would be to hysterical varg.

Demon rumbled, paws shifted as he sent a glare about. His sister could be so idiotic. Obviously Demon had sensed something...when he was in the Temple of Wolfbane he had caught something, some sort of foresight. It had happened once before, when he had separated from the other three during and after a war they had jumped into for fun and were swept away with the tide of war-an instinct had told him where they were. It as happening again, but why? Was another coming? Another of the Plagues? He broke out of his thoughts and snarled at the femme, jaws bared.

"You're the fool, wench. One of us is coming, they're coming."

Chijiresusu growled back, mind spinning. There were no other siblings, right? Right? But a nagging feeling told her otherwise. She pushed it aside with her natural stubbornness and scoffed.

"Hah. There are no others of us, pup. None. We are the four, no others are of our blood."

She sounded more sure than she truly was, but lowered herself to her haunches as the three fell silent in thought.

(lol, does that even make sense? 'this may matter all the difference?'*shrugs* meh..)
