Then by twos. Then by threes. Their numbers grew steadily like the rain drops of a monsoon. Swarming the skies, they were like a million tiny gnats upon a piece of rotting fruit. Talons grasped at the trees of the forest as the birds took their usual places, high above the canines below. Though, this time their numbers seemed a bit larger... Silently, a Shadow watched from distant trees. Her eyes gleamed dangerously with the fire of the sun. Upon her lips, a tainted smirk played an eerie note. Natuarlly bristled fur was in its spiked formation. All sure signs to those that knew the Varg; this was not Letha. Stepping forward, she tread with as much sound as the dead corpses that lay upon the ground in decy. Shadows from the trees passed over her form as she carried forward. Her scent drifted through the air by a breeze, leaving her presance known to those who hadn't spied her. Plume carefully swaying side to side with her pace.
