She followed, the silence of night like a blanket of snow in the winter. No troubles were run into, Brechin's form easy to pick out for her as they pressed on. More thoughts flooded her mind, the realization of time's passing comming to the wolfess for the first time in a long while. She had forgotten about sunrise, though there was still a long ways to go before the burning orb would rise from its grave.
Limbs slowed to a stop, shapeless clouds rising up through the air as Letha wondered where they were. Eyes noted the pond as she turned and faced Brechin. His words had a strange, effect, like piles of snow being knocked from great, tall pine trees. Gaze casted back to the glassy waters in uncertianty as to what posessed him to say such a thing. The suggested thought linked to it seemed impossible to the youth, but she stepped forward anyways, paws just missing the edge of the mirror.

Suprisingly, the faint sound of Graz's wings fluttered through the snowy air as he back-winged a landing upon Brechin's head. The raven seemed of all seriousness, though perhaps the gesture was in friendly humor to lighten the mood a bit? No one could really tell the avian's mind, save for when he wanted them to.

Deep ambers looked upon the pond's smooth face, a mask of depthless black against the moon's light. Optics narrowed, unsure of what might happen, if anything, as she searched the surface. What secrets hid behind this veil? Letha sought for the answer a moment longer. Nothing.
Turning to look back at Brechin and Graz, she gave a slight frown, more disappointed that she had failed Brechin in whatever it was than that she could not 'See.' Old, ebon comrade gave a meaningful rustle of his feathers. The sound of his beak's snapping seemed so lound in the silence, though it was just above a whisper. The young femme turned back to the waters, looking a second time to be sure of herself, as Graz suggested.
Golden jewls focused again upon the ebon glass, narrowed in concentration as she wondered why she was even doing this. Before she even realized it, the veil had been pulled back, gentle as a whisper. Optics widened in terror, part of what she saw to be only reflected upon the water, the other part to be happening around her like an old memory. Sights, sounds, smells, and even tastes came flooding back to her as she saw one of her greatest fears before her eyes.
In a mass confusion of bodies, trampled and crushed upon crimson slush, stood a group of canines. Each one standing was soaked with scarlet, though not as much as the larger number who lay dead, sinister, victorious grins dripping from every living maw.
Amid their numbers stood a large, muscular femme, her own smirk smeared across bloodied maw, though much darker, tainted with her own brand of insanity. A great laugh bellowed from the monster, hackles still risen, each bloody-brown strand of hair massed together into spiked tufts. Wolves all around gave salute to their leader, the Killer in the Dreams.
Finally blinking away from the water, Letha stumbled backward, her breath taken in quick, short gasps. Her head shook side to side in disbelief, eyes still fixed on the water as she tried to send the images away from her mind. They still lingered, though, replaying over and over to her mind' eye.
The frantic wolfess was trembling in alarm, knowing full well when it was and who she saw in the water. Eyes suddenly shot to Brechin, then up to to Graz, another shocking detail to be revived as she realized a minor piece in what she saw: the faint figure of an ebon avian in the trees.
